Local community and air station leaders break ground to mark the beginning of construction of a new bachelors enlisted quarters aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., March 27. The new $37.5 million BEQ is scheduled to be completed in September 2013. “We are providing better living for our Marines,” said Col. Philip J. Zimmerman, commanding officer for MCAS Cherry Point.
