Lt. Col. Benjamin Bishop, the 422nd Test and Evaluation Squadron director of operations, climbs into an F-35A Lightning II at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., March 6 for his first sortie in the new aircraft. Bishop is among the first pilots to begin the official training that began in January.
