Lt. Col. Robert W. Matthews, commander of 385th Military Police Battalion, 16th Military Police Brigade and Directorate of Emergency Services at Fort Stewart, Ga., thanks local law enforcement for running with him and his Soldier after completing a torch run May 12, 2017 from Stewart to Hinesville to benefit the state’s Special Olympics Summer Games. Representatives of the Georgia State Patrol, Hinesville Police Department, Liberty County Sherriff’s office and local Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms office completed the two-mile run alongside military police.
