Tim Bejian, 376th Air Expeditionary Wing chaplain, and Senior Airman Alex Farver, 376th AEW public affairs, help load boxes of blankets and clothes as a part of a humanitarian aid shipment ntended for survivors of an Oct. 5, 2008, earthquake in southern Kyrgyzstan. Airmen from Manas Air Base sent thousands of pounds of aid, Oct. 8, 2008, that included pallets of food rations, bottled water, surplus military cold weather gear and more than 120 boxes containing 3,000 pounds of adult and children's winter clothing, blankets and toys. A call for personal donations resulted in more than 40 Airmen donating their own blankets they deployed here with.
