Cols. “Duece” (left) and “Francis”, 125th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron from Tulsa Oklahoma serving under the 455th Expeditionary Operations Group, flew F-16 Fighting Falcons with tail numbers 017 and 076 in honor of Independence Day, July 4, 2018 over Bagram, Afghanistan. Independence Day, is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. The Continental Congress declared that the thirteen American colonies regarded themselves as a new nation, the United States of America, and were no longer part of the British Empire.
