Maj. Gen. Eugene Haase, vice commander of Air Force Special Operations Command, flies his final flight as an active duty member in an 8th Special Operations Squadron CV-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft at Hurlburt Field, Fla., March 24, 2017. Final or “fini flights” are a military aviation tradition which marks a pilot’s retirement from the Air Force. Haase is scheduled to retire on April 10, after 34 years of service.
