Summary

Maj. Gen. William T. Grisoli, deputy commanding general for civil and emergency operations, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, looks at photos of critical public infrastructure projects while visiting the Corps' Recovery Field Office in Joplin, Mo., July 8. The RFO has a critical public infrastructure planning and response team from the Corps' New York District, which has completed two fire stations to date, and is now focused on schools. This is one of three missions tasked to the Corps by FEMA; the others include debris removal and temporary housing. Grisoli is responsible for emergency response missions for civil disasters and FEMA support.
