Major (MAJ) John Bushe, USAF, pilot, 157th Fighter Squadron (FS), accomplishes an instruments check before take off on his long flight to Moron AB, Spain. Members of the South Carolina Air National Guard (SCANG) deploy in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM. The SCANG personnel are the first Air National Guard personnel from South Carolina to deploy to forward locations in support of the "War on Terrorism." The SCANG sent F-16D, Block 52 aircraft and pilots from the 157th FS as well as maintainers and other support personnel from the 169th Fighter Wing
