US Navy Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 40, embarked onboard the Military Sealift Command Hospital Ship USNS MERCY (T-AH 19), clean the ground before building a basketball court at a local school during a community relations project at Tarakan, Indonesia. The MERCY is currently off the coast to provide humanitarian and civic assistance to the people of this coastal city. The ship is in its third month of a scheduled five-month deployment to host nations in the Pacific Islands, and South and Southeast Asia. This will also contain the flow of the Iowa River which breached it's levee in mid June.
