Marines assigned to Marine Heavy Helicopter Training
Summary
Marines assigned to Marine Heavy Helicopter Training Squadron 302 use the Wi-Fi system to assist them in repairing an engine used in a CH-53E Super Stallion at Marine Corps New River, N.C., Sept. 14, 2017. The Marines were using the laptop to look up specifications to ensure the engine would perform properly after maintenance was completed. The Wi-Fi system enables Marines to perform maintenance and review additional requirements without needing to return to the hangar for that information. Being able to work entirely from the aircraft ensures maintenance is done more efficiently, which improves readiness at a more rapid rate. HMHT-304 is assigned to Marine Aircraft Group 29, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Justin Roux/ Released)
