Members of the Inter-Agency Board for Equipment
Summary
Members of the Inter-Agency Board for Equipment Standardization and Inter-Operability (IAB) listen to an introduction brief during their visit to Joint Task Force Civil Support headquarters Jan. 21, 2014. The purpose of the visit is to build a strong and influential relationship with each other. The IAB was founded in 1998 to address an urgent and pressing situation of preparing for and being able to respond to a terrorist attack against American cities and citizens using a weapon of mass destruction. JTF-CS anticipates, plans, and prepares for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense Support of Civil Authorities (CBRN-DSCA) response operations.
