Summary
Members of the United States Joint Forces Color Guard for the 59th Presidential Inauguration stand at attention while practicing on Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Arlington, VA., Jan. 7, 2021. The primary role of the color guard is to provide funeral honors to fallen service members and to protect national monuments, but they also serve as guardians of the colors by displaying and escorting the national flag during ceremonial occassions.
