Newman on RMS arm after deploying TORU antenna on FGB/Zarya module
Summary
STS-88 mission specialist James Newman is photographed standing on the end effector of the Remote Manipulator System (RMS) arm holding the ten foot pole or ''boat hook'' he used to help deploy the TORU antenna on the FGB/ Zarya module. The antenna had not deployed properly after launch and had to be pulled free on EVA 1.
