On 01 January 2006 soldiers from D Company, 2nd Battalion, 22nd Infantry went to the village of Shiaha, Iraq to conduct site surveys for upcoming civilian relief missions in the area. The site survey was lead by D Company Commander, CPT Ward Irvin.
