Over 200 cots provided for residents evacuating Minot, N.D., are set up at Minot State University Dome in response to the torrent of water from upstream of the Souris River continuing to flood throughout the city, June 24. The Souris River has already tied its record level with a reading of 1,558.52 feet surpassing the 1969's record mark at the city's Broadway Bridge and still rising. National Weather Service projections indicate the rise in the river level will peak at 1,564.5 feet and 28,500 cubic feet per second by June 26.
