Participants take off at the start of the Wellness

Participants take off at the start of the Wellness Fair 5k Run/2-mile Walk on May 16, 2018, in front of Rumpel Fitness Center at Fort McCoy, Wis. The race was part of the overall Fort McCoy Wellness Fair. More than 500 people attended fair where they attended the race or visited dozens of information displays featuring products and services from local businesses and post agencies. The Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare, and Recreation organized the event during which the American Red Cross held a blood drive; health screenings were offered; and 49 door prizes were given to fair attendees. The fair theme was “Always Maintain the Attitude of a Winner.” Agencies, vendors, and sponsors promoted spiritual fitness, healthy-diet options, dental health, skin care, heart health, massage therapy, personal safety, drug-and-alcohol-abuse prevention, recreation opportunities, health-insurance options, financial readiness, and more.
