Petty Officer 2nd Class Cody Abernathy, master-at-arms, assigned to Naval Air Station Whidbey Island base security, answers questions from children of active duty sailors before giving a tour of the security building during the Kids Camp Deployment. Kids Camp Deployment, sponsored by the Fleet and Family Support Center and the Child and Youth Program, is designed to give military children a chance to experience what life is like when their parents go on a deployment. The children participated in a boot camp-like setting with demonstrations and tours of various commands.
