Petty Officer 2nd Class Danielle Humphrey, information systems technician, left, and Daniela Kupschus, a volunteer from Germany with Conservation Volunteers Australia, right, pick weeds from along Ithaca Creek's shoreline during a community service at Purtell Park, in support of the exercise Talisman Sabre 2011. Sailors from the U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge, members of Save Our Waterways Now and international volunteers from Conservation Volunteers Australia cleared Ithaca Creek of brush and weeds to help restore the creek. The COMSEV project site was in the Council ward of Toowong in Brisbane, to continue fostering good relations with the host nation of Australia.
