Pfc. Carter, a Soldier assigned to 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, looks down the sight of his rifle as part of Phantom Major, a major annual training exercise for the New Zealand Armed Forces. A platoon from 1-27 participated in Phantom Major to improve readiness and interoperability with our Pacific partner nation and to build on their ongoing relationship with the NZ Armed Forces originally established during their Joint Readiness Training Center rotation 19-02.
