Pfc. Robert Wilson, Co. D, 1-151st Attack Reconnaissance

description

Summary

Pfc. Robert Wilson, Co. D, 1-151st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, South Carolina National Guard, loads an AH-64 Apache attack helicopter with 2.75 Folding Fin Aerial Rockets before it takes off to conduct live fire exercises July 17, 2014, at Jacksonville Naval Air Station. The Soldiers and pilots participated in the unique training exercise with the U.S. Navy July 14-20, which allowed the Guard pilots to practice water extractions, something they rarely have the opportunity to do. The exercise was also an opportunity for pilots from different branches to collaborate and practice real-world missions. (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Sgt. Brad Mincey/Released)
