Philippine and U.S. Navy dentists extract teeth from

description

Summary

Philippine and U.S. Navy dentists extract teeth from their patients Oct. 5 during a cooperative health engagement at Taysan Elementary School, Legazpi City, Albay, Republic of the Philippines. The engagement at Taysan was one of three engagements to happen in the Legazpi area during Amphibious Landing Exercise 2014. Humanitarian and civic assistance projects, such as the engagements, offer unique opportunities to build interoperability between the military members from the Republic of the Philippines and the United States. The Philippine dentists are with Naval Forces Southern Luzon, and the U.S. dentists are with 3rd Dental Battalion, 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade, III Marine Expeditionary Force. (Official U. S.
