Summary
The artist writes, "My watercolor painting was inspired by a day I spent with the U. S. Coast Guard on Lake Champlain. The Burlington, VT station was good enough to let me go out with one of their boats and take photos which I used as reference for my painting. I also spent time with the two pilots of the Seahawk helicopter featured in the painting. The chopper and the crew flew from the Cape Cod base to help with training for the USCG personnel on Lake Champlain.
