Description: Plasma Diagnostics Package (PDP) grappled by remote manipulator system (RMS) end effector is maneuvered above payload bay (PLB). Other OSS-1 pallet experiments seen as the RMS with PDP is manipulated above PLB include Vehicle Charging and Potential (VCAP) Experiment, Induced Atmosphere Experiment, Solar Ultraviolet Spectral Irradiance Monitor (SUSIM), and Solar Flare X-Ray Polarimeter Experiment (on starboard side); PDP Antenna, and Contamination Monitor Package (CMP) (on port side); and Thermal Canister Experiment (TCE) (in center, above other experiments). Vertical tail, orbital maneuvering system (OMS) pods, and Earth's surface appear in the background.
