Secretary of the Navy, the Honorable Dr. Donald C. Winter, passes through honor sideboys on the quarterdeck of the amphibious command ship USS Blue Ridge. Winter had breakfast with Vice Adm. John M. Bird, commander, Seventh Fleet and other area commanders during his visit. Blue Ridge serves under Commander, Expeditionary Strike Group 7/Task Force 76, the Navy's only forward deployed amphibious force.
