Senior Airman Zachary Richter, a ramp service technician assigned to the 437th Aerial Port Squadron, on-loads a mobile field hospital onto a C-17 Globemaster III at Joint Base Charleston, S.C., Sept. 19, 2020. Aircrew, assigned to the 15th Airlift Squadron, transported the large mobile field hospital to Kingston, Jamaica, Sept. 19, where it will be donated to health care providers and used to support the Caribbean nation’s ongoing response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The donation, made on behalf of the American people, cost $753,000 and was purchased as a part of U.S. Southern Command’s ongoing assistance to nations responding to the global pandemic in the Caribbean and Latin America and funded by the command’s Humanitarian Assistance Program, HAP.
