Summary
Service members and civilians observe a moment of silence to honor those who lost their life during the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, before the start of the Let Freedom Ring 5k run/walk Sept. 10. This event is a part of the Service and Remembrance weekend, sponsored by Area Support Group – Kuwait. All events held this weekend will give Third Army personnel an opportunity to remember the sacrifice, celebrate the present and build hope for the future.
