Sgt 1st Class Jeff Lawson, headquarters and headquarters company, 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, receives a certificate of appreciation and commander's coin from Col. Robert F. McLaughlin, garrison commander, Jan. 13, inside the Fallen Heroes Family Center at Fort Carson, Colo. Lawson is one of 50 Soldiers who volunteered as a peer mentor at the 3rd Annual National Military Suicide Survivor Seminar and Good Grief Camp. The seminar and camp was offered by the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors in Colorado Springs last fall.
