Sgt. Andre Burnett from the California Army National Guard 649th Engineer Company, 579th Engineer Battalion, 49th Military Police Brigade, uses a skid-steer to dig holes at the Isaac Lawson Memorial site in Fairfield, Calif., July 24. The memorial was being constructed to honor Sgt. 1st Class Isaac Lawson, a Desert Storm veteran who was killed by an improvised explosive device while serving in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in Baghdad on June 5, 2006.
