Sgt. Maj. Lee D. Bonar recognizes Marines and Sailors

description

Summary

Sgt. Maj. Lee D. Bonar recognizes Marines and Sailors of Headquarters Company, 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, at the Camp Schwab Theater, on Okinawa, Japan, Oct. 23, 2015, for over 260 days of liberty with no incidents. Tough liberty restrictions on service members in Okinawa relaxed last year including an extended curfew and eased off-base limitations. Despite the changes, Okinawa liberty restrictions remain notorious for being the strictest in the Corps. “You are my example, but keep what you’ve earned right now,” Bonar said to the Marines. Bonar, from Wheeling, West Virginia, is the III Marine Expeditionary Force sergeant major. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Mandaline Hatch/Released)
