Summary
Sgt. Maj. Patrick Maurin, a native of Moscow, Idaho, cavalry scout with 194th Armored Brigade, 5th Squadron, 15th Cavalry Regiment, Fort Benning, Ga., drove all the way here to bring his Soldiers and participate at the Bataan Memorial Death March. Maurin participated in the death march along with his Soldiers to show them the importance of remembering those brothers in arms who sacrificed their lives during that time. “It’s very important for these young leaders (pointing to his Soldiers), these NCO’s out here to understand what it’s about,” said Maurin.
