Capt. Brad Loween, of the North Dakota Army National Guard's 1st Battalion, 112th Aviation Regiment (Security and Support), hugs his children Sept. 13, 2012, upon his return to Fargo, N.D., after a year-long deployment to Kosovo. Fifty-five North Dakota Guard soldiers served with Kosovo Forces 15 (KFOR 15) in support of NATO peacekeeping operations.
