Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment stand in formation with their Bulgarian Army allies during the Exercise Strike Back opening ceremonies at Novo Selo Training Area, Bulgaria April 11. Exercise Strike Back is a Bulgarian Armed Forces exercise that will certify the Bulgarian 38th Mechanized Battalion to respond to crisis operations while demonstrating the interoperability of the Armed Forces and Land Forces. The inclusion of soldiers from 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division helps build relationships between the two Armies while making sure they are able to fight as a combined force as a part of NATO.
