Summary
Soldiers from the 1st Battalion, 507th Parachute Infantry Regiment and members of the Liberty Jump Team visit Maj. (Ret.) Lubert Wing at his home, August 15, 2018 in Phenix City, Alabama. Wing, 93, and a veteran of World War II, Korea, and Vietnam fought in the Ardennes during the Battle of the Bulge and later jumped into Operation Varsity. He commissioned in 1952 and retired from active duty as a Major in 1965. Maj. (Ret.) Wing was a helicopter pilot instructor until the age of 75.
