Summary
Soldiers from the 2nd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, arrive in Orzysz, Poland, to form Battle Group Poland on March 30, 2017. Battle Group Poland, is comprised of U.S. Soldiers, assigned to the 2nd Cav. Regt., and soldiers from the United Kingdom and Romania. The 2nd Cav. Regt., Battle Group just completed a seven day convoy from Vilseck, Germany, to Orzysz, Poland in support of NATO's Enhanced Forward Presence (eFP). NATO's eFP is an allied, forward deployed defense and deterrence posture in Eastern Europe to protect and reassure NATO's Eastern member states of their security.
