Description: Photographic documentation of Payload Commander Mark Lee evaluating the Simplified Aid For Extravehicular Activity Rescue (SAFER) during an Extravehicular Activity (EVA) on the Space Shuttle Discovery during STS-64. SAFER was designed as a small, self-contained EVA crew member mobility unit which would allow crew members extra mobility and a way to rescue themselves should they become adrift.
