Description: STS-82 Pilot Scott Horowitz fashions Multilayer Insulation (MLI) patches in the middeck on Flight Day 7. Horowitz displays the long sheet of paper that ground control had faxed up to the orbiter outlining the construction of the MLI patches (010-13). Horowitz constructs several MLI patches using a penknife in the middeck (014-37). View STS082-350-021 was selected by the crew to be used in their postflight presentation.
