The 92nd Civil Engineering Squadron fireman, rescues a simulated victim during the field training exercise April 22, at Fairchild AFB, Wash. The purpose of this training was to simulate real time training in the battlefield. The 92nd CES conducted an a four day exercise for members of the unit to give each airmen a better picture of what is expected of them in a combat environment.

After the opposing forces attacked and damaged the camp runway, the Rapid Runway Repair team from the 90th CES, F.E. Warren AFB, Wyo., went to work filling in the craters using dump trucks and road graders and then began assembling the AM2 runway repair mats.
