The "Lady of the Lake" lies partially submerged in her watery grave. The "Lady" is a KB-29P from Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana that lost her landing gear while on temporary duty at Eielson and crash landed into a snow bank. It was decided that she be stripped of her parts and hauled to a gravel pit that, after time, formed a lake around her
