Units from the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, Great Britain, Tunisia, and Morocco stand in formation during the opening ceremony of Exercise African Lion 18, April 16, 2018, Tifnit, Morocco. Units from the U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Army, Great Britain, and Tunisia will conduct a multi-lateral Field Training Exercise with units from the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces focusing on Counter-Violent Extremist Organization operations. Special focus of effort will be placed on offensive combat operations including Close Quarters Battle training, limited scale demolitions/breaching operations, and raid operations.
