Approximately 15 C-17 Globemaster III aircraft from Joint Base Charleston provide airdrop support for the U.S. Army's 509th Infantry Regiment, Fort Polk, Louisiana, as part of an integrated large formation readiness exercise, air dropping paratroops and critical equipment to simulate a joint forcible entry of the global response force.
