Summary
U.S. Army National Guard Soldiers with the 218th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, South Carolina National Guard, constructed a Deployable Rapid Assembly Shelter (DRASH) for the Medical University of South Carolina Health Marion Medical Center in Mullins, South Carolina, April 6, 2020, for the hospital to safely conduct screenings of presumed COVID-19 patients prior to admitting them into the hospital. The South Carolina National Guard remains ready to support the counties, local and state agencies, and first responders with requested resources for as long as needed in support of COVID-19 response efforts in the state.
