U.S. Army Pfc. Lisa Carlisle, an engineer with the 824th Transportation Company, lifts a lever to align the engine properly for calibration during normal maintenance on one of the engines of the U.S. Army Landing Craft Utility (LCU) Missionary Ridge, June 18, 2012. The vessel is docked here to support Exercise Tradewinds 2012 during maritime training. Tradewinds is a CJCS-approved, USSOUTHCOM-sponsored exercise supporting the theater security cooperation plan, and involving security forces from 17 partner nations, primarily from the Caribbean Basin area of responsibility and will also include participants from Canada and the U.S.
