Summary

U.S. Army Sgt. Maj. Lynward Hall, Agricultural Team non-commissioned officer-in-charge for Georgia Agribusiness Development Team 1, discusses with Haji Wali, an agricultural contractor, the success of the wheat field training test. The project started with ten individual plots of land. Training was conducted for 150 local wheat farmers on techniques of soil testing and correct applications and amounts of fertilizer. The project ended with the harvest of the grain throughout July. The average yield from those that participated in the test was over double that of those who were not part of the training.
