U.S. Army Spc. Ira Duville, a maintainer and crew chief with the South Carolina Army National Guard's 2-238th General Support Aviation Battalion Detachment 1, operates the 10,000 pound long-line cargo hook on a Boeing CH-47 Chinook helicopter over Columbia, S.C., during a statewide flood response, Oct. 7, 2015. The South Carolina National Guard has been activated to support state and county emergency management agencies and local first responders as historic flooding impacts counties statewide.
