Gary Seale, an improvised explosive device detection dog (IDD) handler with Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat team 6 prepares his IDD to scout out imitation explosives on Forward Operating Base Geronimo, Helmand province, Afghanistan Aug. 16, 2012.
