U.S. Marine Lt. Col. Christopher Murray, right, speaks with Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Maj. Gen. Tomofusa Harada about the benefits and capabilities of the MV-22B Osprey tiltrotor aircraft Oct. 8 at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma. Harada came to get a better understanding of the Osprey and to see the aircraft first hand. Harada is the director of the JGSDF Operations Support and Intelligence Department, Ground Staff Office. Murray is from Huntsville, Alabama, and is the commanding officer of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265, Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
