U.S. Marine Sgt. Shane Willis, a 28 year-old Manchester, N.H., native and the 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment Police Advisor Team chief instructor, teaches an Afghan Local Police recruit patrolling techniques during the ALP Academy here, Feb. 9. Willis is a military police Marine who spends his days training the ALP recruits at the academy. His current duties are vastly different than those during his previous deployments to Iraq as a squad leader with 1st Combat Logistics Regiment, Military Police Company from 2006-2007.
