Rountree JR (incoming) at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, April 26, 2019. VMFA-121 is the only permanently forward-deployed 5th generation fighter attack squadron in the Marine Corps and expands the capabilities of the Marines in the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
