Summary
USS Nimitz Commanding Officer, Capt. Michael Manazir, thanks a local child after receiving a lei during a port visit to Busan, Republic of Korea Feb. 28. The nuclear-powered aircraft carrier is participating in Exercise Key Resolve/Foal Eagle 2008, an annual combined/joint exercise involving forces from both the U.S. and the ROK. This exercise provides training to further enhance interoperability and combat readiness, while also demonstrating both countries' commitment to the ROK/US alliance.
