Summary
OAKLAND, Calif. - Petty Officer 3rd Class Blaine Nibley, a marine science technician at the Pacific Strike Team, inspects one-ton bags of ground fish bone at the West Oakland lead remediation incident command post, June 21, 2012. At the site, the calcium from fish bones is being used to decontaminate the lead in the soil and make the yards safe for children to play.
